EPISODE #343-- We're in the mood to go a viking, so today we handled the mixed-up and cut-up adventure story THE 13th WARRIOR (1999), directed by convicted criminal John McTiernan (along with Michael Critchon). It's a fun one.

We also talk about EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE (2022).

EPISODE #342-- We are back on that Dick-- Philip K. Dick, that is. We're talking Richard Linklater's 2006 sci-fi/animated minor-masterpiece A SCANNER DARKLY (staring Keanu Reeves, Winona Rider, and. . . Alex Jones? Oh no). It's a good one. Don't miss it.

What else? We also talk SLACKER (1990), VON RYAN'S EXPRESS (1965), and THE WAY OF THE GUN (2000).

EPISODE #341- Today we take on the big, ridiculous crime film that is TRUCK TURNER (1974). Starring Nichelle Nichols, Yaphet Kotto, and Isaac Hayes (who contributes a score), Truck Turner is a perfect encapsulation of a time and a place and one of the scummiest movies we've ever reviewed (it's a masterpiece is what I'm saying).

We also talk about THE NORTHMAN (2022), THE FRENCH DISPATCH (2021), ACROSS 110th STREET (1972), and FEMALE PRISONER #701: SCORPION (1972). Big week for bloody movies. And Wes Anderson (happy birthday, big guy).
